Amenities
We believe in equipping our members to succeed in sport and in life, which is why our amenities extend well beyond the court. Depending on your regimen, we can oblige patrons with a nutritious post-workout smoothie or just an ice-cold beer. But beyond food and drink, the Little Rock Athletic Club offers everything you’d expect and many things you wouldn’t including massage, a pro shop, child care and plenty more.

Need food to fuel superior athletic achievement? Or if you just want to grab a sandwich and a drink and watch others exert themselves from one of the most unique vantage points in the city, the Blue Court Grill is the perfect venue. Overlooking our “blue” tennis courts and managed by local chefs extraordinaire, Michael Selig and Paul Novicky, the full-service restaurant offers a delicious selection of menu items to enjoy with fellow club members and guests. Additionally:
- The Grill is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between.
- Prices are approximately 25% lower than similar offerings around town because the Club picks up the rent, light bill and insurance and, rather than pocketing the extra, we pass on the savings.
- WE DON’T ACCEPT CASH OR TIPS!
- You can book an event! Call us about hosting a wine tasting (or just come enjoy the premium selections we have on hand all of the time), tennis party, holiday event, card or game marathon, birthday celebration, book club meeting, watch party or anything else that sounds fun. We’ll take care of it for you!
- We have “On the Spot” delivery to areas in the Club. If you want your food ready and waiting after your favorite Club activity, order on our new Club Grub app ahead of time and we’ll bring it to the “spot” closest to you when you want it.

While we are all born with some athletic limitations that may preclude us from someday hoisting the hardware on Centre Court at Wimbledon, there is no reason we can’t dress the part. Whether you need the latest gear for fitness, yoga, aquatics, tennis or casual wear for every day life, we carry all of the top lines, including Nike, Tail, Pearl Izumi, Life Is Good and Bolle. We feature Wilson and Prince tennis racquets, Wilson and Ektelon racquetball racquets, Pearl Izumi running shoes, Oakley sunglasses, Polar heart rate monitors and, of course, LRAC logo shirts.
Plus we stock all of the accessories and essentials that tend to get worn out, lost or left behind, including batteries, headphones, weightlifting gloves, socks, goggles and grip tape. For racquet sport devotees, we offer racquet-stringing services. Members can also take advantage of our “try before you buy” equipment rental program.

USAGE
The Day Care, located on the lower floor of the Club next to the Pro Shop, is available for all children, ages one month through five years, for an hourly fee. Parents must remain on the premises while their child is in the Day Care. The maximum allotted Day Care stay is three hours. Parents or guardians must sign children in and out and leave special care information on file for attendants. Guests of members may use the Day Care on a space available basis, paying the fee set by management.
FOOD AND SUPPLIES
In order to keep all our children happy, we ask that meals not be brought to the Day Care because “happy meals” cause those without to be very unhappy. Snacks are welcome but for the safety of our little members, please don’t bring popcorn, grapes, gum, peanuts or peanut butter. All drinks brought into the Day Care area must be in labeled containers with lids.
Please furnish all requisite items such as diapers, pacifiers, bottles, extra change of clothes, etc. for your child’s use during the duration of his or her stay. Diapers will not be provided by the Club. All supplies should be labeled with your child’s name and be brought in a bag with your child’s name on it.
FEES
First child: $3 per hour
Each additional child: $2.50 per hour
Guest children: $3.00 per hour (assuming space is available)
Receive a 20% discount when you purchase a 20-hour block of time.
SAFETY
Your child’s safety is our utmost concern. All of our Day Care employees are screened using the Child Maltreatment background check available through the Department of Human Services. Additionally, we perform a criminal background check through Background Information Systems of America on all Club employees. For your peace of mind, children will only be released to parents or a designated guardian as specified on the information sheets we maintain in your child’s file or the daily sign-in sheet.
ROO ROMPERS
Roo Rompers provides time for our youngest children to visit the DUC. Age appropriate games are led by our DUC staff Monday through Friday. Children 20 months to 4 years may attend. Classes are offered from 9:00 to 10:00 am and 10:00 to 11:00 am. Roo Rompers registration is handled through the Day Care.
KIDZ N’ MOTION
NOW AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY MORNINGS
Kidz N’ Motion offers our 3 and 4 year olds time for supervised play in the DUC. Regularly available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 3:00 to 6:30 pm, we’ve added Saturday mornings from 8:00 to 11:00 am. One caveat – participants must be 100% potty-trained. You don’t have to pre-register. Simply sign-up when you show up.

We want every part of your athletic club experience to exceed expectations and this aspect of our facilities is no exception. The LRAC locker room is designed for functionality, comfort and performance – helping you prepare for, or wind down after, your experience at the club. Both the women’s and men’s areas are equipped with a whirlpool, sauna, steam room, shower, towel service and even high definition TV and lounge for relaxing before and after your workouts. All of this and of course, plenty of complimentary, full-size lockers to accommodate your gear.
Private lockers and associated laundry service are available for a monthly fee. Kit lockers rent for $10 per month and ½ lockers rent for $17 per month. Private lockers may be rented for as long as you wish. Please contact the Membership Office for availability
