The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association
(IHRSA) is a not-for-profit trade association representing
health & fitness facilities, gyms, spas, sports clubs
and suppliers worldwide.
The Mission of IHRSA is to grow, protect and promote the
industry, and to provide its members with benefits that
will help them be more successful.
IHRSA Passport
As an LRAC member, when you travel, you are
eligible to receive guest privileges, at participating IHRSA
Clubs. Visit the Membership Office for details about the
passport program. Guest fees may apply.
Membership
Club memberships are available to investor-owned fitness,
racquet and athletic facilities which pay property taxes
and do not accept tax-deductible contributions for capital
or operating costs. Associate memberships are available
to manufacturers or suppliers of products and services of
use to IHRSA members.

Growth: IHRSA's club membership has grown tenfold, from
a homogeneous group of tennis and racquetball clubs to a
variety of types and sizes of clubs which reflect the needs
of the growing number of health-conscious consumers.
Goals: IHRSA has expanded its leadership role in the fitness
industry, and endeavors to heighten both awareness of the
benefits of exercise, and membership in IHRSA clubs.
