SMALL GROUP TRAINING: Burn 30/30

Betsy Kortebein is bringing this new fitness program straight from Los Angeles. Each sweat drenched session combines thirty minutes of cardio intervals (either treadmill or elliptical) with thrity minutes of energetic strength training. The program is designed for all levels of fitness with speeds designed for walkers, joggers and runners. Participants are strongly encouraged to wear a heart monitor. Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays, Session II: February 11 - March 5 Session III: March 31 - April 23 Time: 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

Fee: $120 per session

 

SMALL GROUP TRAINING: Boot Camp

Boot Camp is a four week training camp with three one hour sessions per week. The military-style program includes body weight and cardio exercises. Fitness "officers" will take pre and post assessments. Participants should not have physical limitations, for example, back or knee pain. Class size is limited. Personal training is an individualized approach to fitness designed to provide members with time-efficient, safe and highly effective workouts. Plus, it's fun! Need motivation - hire a trainer. Pilates

Enhance your mat practice with equipment work. Pilates equipment can improve alignment, core strength, flexibility and range of motion while toning and lengthening muscles. Sessions performed one-on-one with a certified trainer are customized to meet your needs. The Pilates Method can also help speed recovery of soft tissue injuries. Basketball

Increase your basketball skills with one-on-one training. Using Pete Maravich’s ball handling/passing drills, our basketball specialist can help any player add 12 to 14 points a game to their average. Some of the drills taught include how to handle two balls at full speed, execute a behind-the-back dribble, crossover dribble, and a between-the-legs dribble. Yoga

Practice yoga to achieve mind-body health, relaxation and stress management. We recommend private sessions if you are new to yoga, have a physical condition that needs special attention or you want to improve your personal yoga practice. Call Lana Bienvenue at 224-1312 to schedule.
