We know that balancing fitness and life can sometimes be a challenge for families. That’s why we’ve designed our club to be a sanctuary where parents and kids can both engage in healthy activities that promote well-being for all. To translate this, LRAC offers tons of stuff that let your kids burn off energy and go bananas (safely of course) while you work out in kid-free bliss. Our combination of the city’s finest fitness venue coupled with our Kids’ Club, Day Care, After School Activities, Parent’s Night Out and Youth Recreation Programs make fitness at LRAC a family affair.

Leave the devices at home because our camps offer nonstop action. Activities include games, sports, arts and crafts and swimming.

We have days of action-packed fun in the DUC when schools are closed! Typically, we follow public school calendars (see dates below) but if your private or parochial school is going to be out, please check with us. We may be able to add more. As you know, space fills fast so make your reservations by calling 501-225-3601, ext. 335, as early as possible. Snacks and lunch are provided. Children must be potty trained.

Built for middle school students, Fit for Life improves overall fitness, study habits and life skills. Hand picked personal trainers lead the after school program. Van pick up is available for Quest and Robinson Middle School students but any 11 to 14 year old is invited to attend. For more information, please contact Youth Director, Melody Land.

Our trained and caring staff will do everything possible to make your child feel comfortable and happy while you work out, play tennis, have lunch or partake in the myriad activities, programs and services available at the Club.
FEES
First child: $4 per hour
Each additional child: $3.50 per hour
Guest children: $4.00 per hour (assuming space is available)

The Down Under Center (DUC) is our 7000 square foot activity center where children have their own gym, a large indoor playground filled with special “soft play” equipment highlighted by a twenty-seven foot spiral slide and interactive, electronic “toys” including Dance Dance Revolution, Wii, and Sportwall Training Stations. The DUC is command central for our After School Care program, spring break and summer camps, Parent’s Night Out (affectionately known as PNO) and, without a doubt, the coolest birthday parties in Central Arkansas.
Age: 5+ (unless accompanied by a parent or guardian)
Fee: Use of the kids’ gym and the exergames is complimentary. If you are not a member of Kids’ Club, the charge for playing in the maze is $4 per visit per child.

Kids’ Club members receive unlimited play in the “soft play” maze, discounts on programs, camps, birthday parties and special programs. Ages 5 and under receive a 35% discount when purchasing 20-hour Day Care cards.

Kids’ Club membership is complimentary for all children after the third child.
REGISTRATION
To enroll in Kids’ Club, you may complete the downloadable form and fax it back to Melody Nation (fax 501-221-2398) or call the Club, 501-225-3600, and ask for the Membership or Business Office.

Our state licensed After School Care program for children in pre-K through 6th grade is designed to exercise the mind and body of your child. Our 7200 square foot facility houses a children’s basketball gymnasium, game room with Dance Dance Revolution and Nintendo Wii, study room and soft play maze featuring a 27-foot high spiral slide. The daily schedule consists of age appropriate fitness activities, cooperative games, arts and crafts, homework finishing opportunities and snacks. You can add junior tennis and/or swim (lessons or team) for an additional fee. The LRAC provides van pick-up from Baker Elementary, Chenal Elementary, Forest Heights Elementary, Forest Park, Fulbright, Jefferson Elementary, Little Rock Christian Elementary, Roberts Elementary and Williams Magnet. Space is limited and applications to the program are accepted in the order they are received. Check on availability by sending an e-mail to Melody Nation or calling the DUC at 501-225-3601, ext. 335.

Planning a birthday party? We have everything you need for an exciting, hassle-free celebration. Select one of six different party packages and we’ll take care of the rest! Our parties are perfect for kids ages 2 – 12. You’ll want to be sure and book your party at least 2 – 5 weeks in advance due to high demand and limited availability. Birthday party packages include a personal party coach, your choice of sports, games or swimming, the Moomba Maze, ice cream, ¼ sheet cake, drinks, party ware, balloons and favors. Please note: The maximum birthday party attendance is 25 children.

* Scheduling Notes:
- Saturday’s 5:00 pm parties are only 60 minutes long.
- Swim parties are only available November – May.
- Saturday’s 9:00 and 11:00 am time slots are not available for swim parties.

Experience ultimate fun with one of our non-stop Super Parties. They are ideal for kids ages 8 – 15 whether it’s a church, school group or just a bunch of friends. You create your own night of fun from the following menu of activities:

Super Party options are Friday nights 6:00 – 9:00 pm, and Saturday nights 5:00 – 8:00 pm or 6:00 – 9:00 pm. To check availability, call the DUC at 501-225-3601, ext. 335, at least two weeks before your desired date. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking and may be charged to your Club account.

These fees include a staff person to supervise and direct activities, soft drinks at designated times and equipment for games and activities.
Please Note: During Super Parties, children are only allowed to be in the Down Under Center, the basketball gym and the pool (if selected as an activity). Locker rooms may only be used for changing purposes.
CHILD WAIVERS
We require that a waiver be signed by a parent or guardian for each Super Party participant.
PARENTAL SUPERVISION DURING SUPER PARTIES
For every 15 children in attendance, at least one parent or guardian must stay for the entire event. Also, you will be charged for the number of confirmed children, so please let us know at least one week in advance if the number of children attending changes.
