Tennis Court Resurfacing @ Athletic
We have an important update to share about LRAC’s indoor tennis courts. Beginning Tuesday, August 4, all nine courts will be resurfaced as part of a major facility upgrade. We’ll be sharing more about the full project very soon, but the court work is the first phase to get underway.
Each court will receive a new charcoal gray playing surface, light gray surround and black backdrop. The updated look will be sharp, but this project is about more than appearance. Some of the current surfaces have begun developing slick areas, and we want every court to meet the high standards you expect for safety, consistency and play.
Work will be completed in three phases:
Courts 4, 5 & 6 | August 4–17
Courts 1, 2 & 3 | August 17–September 2
Courts 12, 13 & 14 | September 2–14
While work is underway, LRAC members will be able to reserve courts at Racquet. However, because the app does not allow cross-club booking unless you have an All Access membership, you will need to call Racquet to do so.
